Manele Bay Light
Hawaii
Manele Bay Light stands along the rugged southern coast of Lanai, near Lanai City, Hawaii. This modest navigational beacon was built to guide vessels approaching Manele Bay’s small harbor, one of only two commercial harbors on the island. Though no longer active, the light remains a quiet coastal landmark.
The tower is not open to the public, but visitors can view it from nearby trails and shoreline paths. Golden hour offers the best photography, with the light silhouetted against dramatic Pacific sunsets and the sea cliffs of Hulopoe Bay.
Nearby attractions include Hulopoe Beach Park, one of Hawaii’s finest crescent beaches, the Sweetheart Rock sea stack, and excellent snorkeling and tide pool exploring along the coast.
