Standing on the northern shore of Daufuskie Island, South Carolina, this 1873 lighthouse guided vessels through Calibogue Sound as part of a range light system. Deactivated for decades, the light was restored and relit, making it one of the few range lights still active on the East Coast. The tower sits within the private Haig Point community, so public access is not available and visitors cannot climb it. The best photography opportunities come during golden hour from the water, where the lighthouse frames beautifully against maritime oaks.
