Hamlin Beach State Park

Stretching along the sandy southern shore of Lake Ontario, Hamlin Beach State Park offers 1,287 acres of beach, woodland, and wetland in Genesee County, New York. Established in 1938, the park has been drawing families and outdoor enthusiasts to its mile-long beach for nearly nine decades.

The main attraction is the Lake Ontario waterfront itself — a broad, sandy beach with designated swimming areas staffed by lifeguards during summer months.
