Rising from the sandy barrier beach of Cape Cod Bay, Sandy Neck Light has guided mariners since 1857. This historic wooden lighthouse marks the entrance to Barnstable Harbor, standing as one of the few remaining wooden lighthouses in Massachusetts.

The lighthouse remains an active navigational aid, its light still serving vessels navigating these waters. While the tower is not open to public climbing, visitors can admire it from the beach during low tide walks along Sandy Neck.
