Standing sentinel in Hyannis, Massachusetts since 1849, this historic lighthouse served as part of a range light system guiding vessels safely into Hyannis Harbor. The rear range light worked in tandem with a front light, allowing mariners to align the two beacons for safe channel navigation.

Though no longer active and closed to public access, the lighthouse remains a charming piece of Cape Cod maritime heritage. Visitors cannot climb the tower, but the exterior can be viewed and photographed from nearby areas. Golden hour provides the best lighting for photography, with soft afternoon light complementing the historic structure.
