Orchard Beach State Park

Perched on a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan in Manistee County, Orchard Beach State Park packs a stunning coastal experience into its 201 acres. The park’s defining feature is its elevated position above the shoreline — a wooded bluff that drops down to a wide, sandy beach with panoramic views of the lake stretching to the horizon.

A staircase leads from the campground down to the beach, where swimming, sunbathing, and beachcombing fill summer days.
