Nauset Beach Light
Nauset Beach · Massachusetts
Rising 48 feet above the Cape Cod coastline in Eastham, Massachusetts, Nauset Beach Light has guided mariners since 1923. This iconic red-and-white striped lighthouse replaced earlier towers dating back to 1838, when the original “Three Sisters” beacons marked this treacherous stretch of coast.
The lighthouse remains an active aid to navigation, its beacon visible for miles across Cape Cod Bay. While the tower is not open for public climbing, visitors can explore the surrounding grounds and capture stunning photographs—golden hour provides the best light, with the tower silhouetted against Atlantic sunsets.
Nearby attractions include Coast Guard Beach, the Cape Cod National Seashore visitor center, and the historic Three Sisters Lighthouses, now preserved just a short walk inland.
