Named for the pioneering conservationist and two-time Pennsylvania governor, Gifford Pinchot State Park stretches across 2,338 acres of rolling York County countryside. At its heart lies the 340-acre Pinchot Lake, a centerpiece that draws anglers, kayakers, and families looking for a full day on the water. The park was established in 1961 and has since become one of south-central Pennsylvania’s most beloved outdoor destinations.
