Bullards Beach State Park sits along Oregon’s southern coast near Bandon, where the Coquille River meets the Pacific Ocean. Best time to visit: Late June through September for dry weather and the longest beach days. Winter brings dramatic storms and fewer crowds — ideal if you’re after solitude and driftwood-strewn scenery.
