Perched on the western shore of the Kennebec River in Arrowsic, Maine, Squirrel Point Light has guided mariners since 1898. This charming wooden lighthouse marks a critical turn in the river where vessels navigate toward Bath’s historic shipyards.

The light remains active under Coast Guard operation, though the tower is not open to public climbing. Visitors can access the grounds via a scenic half-mile trail through the surrounding preserve, offering excellent views of the structure.
