Seguin Light, perched on Seguin Island off Georgetown, Maine, stands as one of America’s oldest lighthouses, commissioned by George Washington in 1795. The original wooden tower was replaced with the current granite structure in 1857. Rising above the island’s rugged terrain, it features Maine’s most powerful Fresnel lens, making it visible for miles across Casco Bay.

The lighthouse is not open to public climbing, and the island requires boat access.
