Rising above the marshlands near Taylors Bridge, Delaware, this 1910 skeletal tower serves as the rear component of a range light system guiding vessels through the Delaware River’s treacherous Reedy Island reach. Its enduring operation for over a century makes it one of Delaware’s longest-serving navigational aids still active today.

The lighthouse is not open to the public, and visitors cannot climb the tower. However, it can be viewed and photographed from nearby roads and waterways. Late afternoon light during fall offers the best photography conditions, casting warm tones across the surrounding wetlands.
