Built in 1906 in Port Penn, Delaware, the Liston Range Front Light served as part of a range light system guiding ships along the Delaware River. Paired with a rear range light, the two beacons helped vessels navigate the treacherous channel safely. The light was decommissioned and is no longer active.

The tower is not open to the public, and visitors cannot climb it, but it remains a compelling sight from the surrounding area. Early morning and golden hour offer the best lighting for photography, especially with the river as a backdrop.

Nearby attractions include the Port Penn Interpretive Center, Augustine Wildlife Area, and the scenic Delaware River waterfront trails.
