Rising from the shallow waters near the Marquesas Keys in Florida, Cosgrove Shoal Light has guided mariners through treacherous shoals since 1935. This steel screw-pile lighthouse stands as one of the last offshore skeletal tower lights in the Florida Keys, marking dangerous shallow reefs west of Key West. Still an active aid to navigation, the light is maintained by the U.S. Coast Guard and is not open to the public — visitors cannot climb the tower.
