Warm Springs State Recreation Site sits along the Deschutes River in north-central Oregon, where the high desert landscape meets rushing water in a setting that feels both rugged and inviting. Visitors should come prepared with sun protection, plenty of water, and sturdy footwear. Cell service is limited in the canyon, which most visitors consider a feature rather than a drawback.
