Rising from the waters of Delaware Bay, Fourteen Foot Bank Light has guided mariners since 1887. This caisson-style lighthouse was a pioneering engineering achievement — one of the first in the United States to use a cast-iron caisson foundation planted directly on the bay floor, a design later adopted for lighthouses nationwide.

The light remains active and is not open to the public, as it stands offshore with no pedestrian access. The best views come by boat, with golden hour and clear autumn days offering ideal photography conditions.
