Located in Jefferson Township, Ohio, the Giddings Road Covered Bridge was constructed in 1995, making it one of the newer covered bridges in the region. While a modern build, it carries on Ohio’s rich tradition of covered bridge craftsmanship.

This working bridge continues to serve local transportation needs while offering visitors a picturesque example of traditional covered bridge design. The structure features classic wooden construction with a protective roof that shields the deck from weathering.

Visiting Tips: The bridge is best photographed during autumn when surrounding foliage provides stunning contrast against the wooden structure. Early morning light offers soft, even illumination. Since it’s open to traffic, exercise caution when stopping for photos and pull well off the roadway.
