Standing guard over Hillsboro Beach, Florida since 1907, this striking iron-skeleton lighthouse is one of the most powerful on the East Coast. Originally displayed at the 1904 St. Louis World’s Fair, the structure was later dismantled and reassembled at its current location along the Hillsboro Inlet.

The lighthouse is not open to the public, but its distinctive octagonal pyramidal form is best admired from the beach or by boat. Golden hour and early morning offer ideal photography conditions, with the tower silhouetted against vivid Atlantic skies.
