Along the way, you’ll encounter the fascinating Falls of the Ohio State Park, where 390-million-year-old fossil beds emerge from the river during low water—one of the largest exposed Devonian fossil beds in the world.

The route meanders through rolling hills blanketed in hardwood forests, past covered bridges, limestone caves, and charming river towns that seem frozen in time. Stop at historic Corydon, Indiana’s first state capitol, or explore the Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial where young Abe spent his formative years.
