Perched at the entrance to Camden Harbor in Maine, Curtis Island Light has guided mariners since 1835. This charming lighthouse stands on a small island owned by the town of Camden, making it one of the few municipally-owned lighthouses in America.

The white conical tower remains an active navigational aid, its green light visible for miles. While the island and lighthouse are not open to public access, visitors enjoy excellent views from Camden’s harbor, waterfront parks, and passing boats.
