Standing at the tip of the Stonington Peninsula in Delta County, Michigan, Peninsula Point Light has guided mariners through the waters of Lake Michigan since 1856. The square brick tower rises above the rugged shoreline where Green Bay meets Little Bay de Noc, though the original keeper’s house was destroyed by fire in 1959.

Today the tower remains an active navigational aid but is not open to the public for climbing. Visitors can still explore the surrounding grounds and enjoy sweeping views of the bay. Golden hour provides the best photography, especially at sunset when the light catches the weathered brick against the water.

Nearby, the Hiawatha National Forest offers hiking trails, and the charming town of Escanaba is a short drive west.
