Rising from the shores of St. George Island, Florida, this reconstructed lighthouse was completed in 2008 after the original 1852 tower collapsed into the Gulf of Mexico in 2005. Community efforts salvaged bricks from the fallen structure and incorporated them into the new tower, making it a testament to local preservation spirit.
