Mercer’s Mill Covered Bridge spans the west branch of Octoraro Creek near Atglen and Christiana in Chester County, Pennsylvania. Built in 1880, this historic structure features a classic Burr arch truss design—a combination of a wooden arch and multiple kingpost trusses that provided exceptional strength for 19th-century bridges.
