Labyrinth Rims and Gemini Bridges occupy a vast stretch of canyon country north of Moab, Utah, managed by the Bureau of Land Management. This area combines two distinct geological attractions — the winding rim trails above Labyrinth Canyon on the Green River and the striking double natural bridges known as Gemini Bridges — into one of the region’s most rewarding off-road and hiking destinations.

Gemini Bridges themselves are twin parallel natural bridges spanning a deep side canyon, visible from above via a short walk from the upper trailhead or from below via a longer hiking approach. The view from the top, looking down through the bridge openings to the canyon floor hundreds of feet below, ranks among the most vertigo-inducing perspectives in Utah canyon country. A popular mountain biking and four-wheel-drive road connects the bridges to Highway 313 near Dead Horse Point.

The Labyrinth Rims section follows the canyon edges above the Green River as it carves deep, sinuous meanders through the sandstone plateau. Overlook points along the rim provide sweeping views of the river far below, with colorful rock layers exposed in the canyon walls. Dispersed camping is available throughout the area on established sites along the dirt road network.

Spring and fall offer ideal conditions, with moderate temperatures and stable weather. Summer heat can be extreme, and some roads become impassable after rain. A high-clearance vehicle is recommended for most access roads in the area.
