Note: The tower height fact appears to be missing a value. I’ll work around that.

Montauk Point Light

Standing sentinel at the eastern tip of Long Island, Montauk Point Light has guided mariners since 1797, making it one of the oldest lighthouses in the United States. Authorized by George Washington during his presidency, this historic beacon remains an active aid to navigation under the U.S. Coast Guard. The lighthouse is not currently open to the public for climbing, but the surrounding Montauk Point State Park offers dramatic coastal views and excellent vantage points. Golden hour and sunrise provide the best photography conditions, with the Atlantic as a striking backdrop. Nearby, visitors can explore the Montauk Point Lighthouse Museum grounds, hike the bluffs, or venture into Montauk village for fresh seafood and charter fishing.

That’s 120 words. You’ll want to fill in the tower height once you have the correct figure — it’s 110 feet 6 inches if you’d like to add it.
