A modest beach area provides a swimming spot during summer months, and the surrounding trails wind through mixed hardwood forest that puts on a reliable show each October. Hikers will find several miles of interconnected paths that range from easy lakeside strolls to moderately hilly loops through the upland woods. In winter, these same trails serve cross-country skiers when conditions cooperate.
