Grand Gulf State Park sits tucked away in Oregon County, Missouri, protecting one of the most dramatic geological features in the Ozarks. Known locally as “Missouri’s Little Grand Canyon,” the park’s centerpiece is a collapsed cave system that carved out a massive chasm — roughly a mile long, 130 feet deep, and up to 200 feet wide. Grand Gulf is a day-use park, so plan camping at nearby Grand Gulf Conservation Area or Greer Spring if you want to extend your stay overnight. The park has no entrance fee.
