This 10-acre gem, opened in 1998, transforms a former industrial dock into a polished riverside escape where restored gantry cranes — once used to load railroad car floats — stand as striking monuments to the site’s working past.

The park stretches along the East River with a beautifully maintained esplanade perfect for walking, jogging, or simply finding a bench to watch the city light up at dusk.
