Fairway Island Light

Built in 1904 on a remote Alaskan island, Fairway Island Light guided mariners through treacherous northern waters during the early twentieth century. The lighthouse is no longer active and stands as a weathered testament to Alaska’s maritime heritage. Its isolated location and rugged surroundings make it a striking subject for photographers, though the tower is not open to the public and cannot be climbed.
