Unicoi State Park &038; Lodge sits in the Blue Ridge Mountains just two miles from the Bavarian-themed village of Helen, Georgia, offering 1,050 acres of forested ridgelines, lake shoreline, and some of the best outdoor access in White County.

The park centers around Unicoi Lake, a 53-acre impoundment that draws swimmers, kayakers, and anglers throughout the warmer months. A paved multi-use trail loops the lake — flat enough for families with strollers but scenic enough to hold your attention. Beyond the lake, trails climb into hardwood forest and connect to the broader network leading toward Anna Ruby Falls, a striking double waterfall fed by two separate creeks that’s easily one of the most photographed spots in north Georgia.
