One of Pennsylvania’s oldest surviving covered bridges, Bogert Covered Bridge spans Little Lehigh Creek in Allentown. Built in 1841, this historic structure features a Burr arch truss design—a construction method combining wooden arches with traditional kingpost trusses for exceptional strength and longevity.

The bridge served local travelers for over 180 years before requiring restoration. It is currently temporarily closed to all traffic while undergoing preservation work.

Visiting Tips: The bridge sits within Lehigh Parkway, offering scenic walking trails along the creek.
