Hargus Lake is the main draw. The 145-acre reservoir supports fishing for largemouth bass, bluegill, crappie, and channel catfish — it’s a reliable spot for anglers who prefer a calm, uncrowded shoreline. Electric motors only, so the water stays peaceful. A public beach opens for swimming in summer, and small boats, canoes, and kayaks launch easily from the ramp.
