Falls Lake State Recreation Area

Spring and fall deliver the most comfortable conditions, with mild temperatures and fewer crowds than peak summer weekends. Summer brings the fullest experience if you’re after swimming and boating, though arriving early on weekends is wise to secure parking at the more popular access points.
